The Search Platform for OnlyFans Models That Resemble Your Ideal Partner

For three days in February, adult film star Alix Lynx traveled to Miami for her inaugural exclusive creator gathering, where she immersed herself in shooting Reels and strategizing with fellow creators. “It felt like a SoHo House for OnlyFans girls,” she reflects on the experience, known as The Circle, which attracted over a dozen sex workers, including Remy LaCroix and Forrest Smith.
Lynx, a former webcam model turned OnlyFans sensation, boasts a total of 2 million followers across Instagram, TikTok, and X. She joined OnlyFans in 2017 with “the luxury of having my own following,” she shares, though those figures haven’t always converted to subscriptions. This is the reason for her trip to Miami.
“People really don’t grasp the amount of marketing I do,” Lynx notes. “That’s a major misconception about OnlyFans—new creators often believe it will be a breeze. But unless you’re extremely skilled at social media marketing, which is rare, it’s genuinely challenging to be discovered and build a following.”
Many of OnlyFans’ 4 million creators express similar frustrations: organic discovery on the platform can be dismal. “It’s frustrating,” Lynx adds. “Ideally, there would be a search feature to level the playing field for creators.” (OnlyFans claims that it restricts its search functionality for safety reasons, to prevent users from encountering unintended content.)
This issue is something Presearch—a free, private, decentralized search engine—hopes to address with the introduction of its image-based discovery tool, Doppelgänger.
Doppelgänger enhances Presearch’s Spicy Mode, an NSFW feature for adult content searches. Users can upload images of celebrities—or anyone they find attractive—to locate OnlyFans creators with similar appearances. The technology connects users with creators aiming to build an audience, as opposed to deepfake platforms that misuse images illegally and without consent. Ever wondered who Sabrina Carpenter or Pedro Pascal’s porn doppelgängers might be? Look no further.
As stated by the company, Doppelgänger is designed with specific safeguards—such as no tracking of user searches and explicit age restrictions—and operates on Presearch’s decentralized index, “which highlights content that traditional search engines and commercial AI often suppress,” explains Brenden Tacon, head of product and business development at Presearch.
“We aim to provide a venue where you can be serendipitously discovered,” Tacon tells WIRED. “That won’t happen on OnlyFans. If you’re promoting yourself on Instagram, Reddit, and other platforms, cutting through the clutter is incredibly difficult.”
With 300,000 daily active searches on Presearch—according to the company—Doppelgänger is among the pioneering tools advocating for ethical discovery of adult creators at scale. Unlike traditional reverse image tools that scour the open web to find photo locations or trace identities, Doppelgänger avoids searching the broader internet, does not reveal personal information, and does not try to identify individuals. “It merely returns visually similar public profiles based on image characteristics, making it inherently more limited and, in many ways, more privacy-conscious than standard reverse image searches,” Tacon comments.
Nonetheless, the accuracy of Doppelgänger still requires some tuning. In testing conducted by WIRED, the AI appeared more adept at identifying female matches than male. I had no trouble finding look-alikes for Cardi B and Sydney Sweeney. However, when looking for Michael B. Jordan’s doppelgängers, it recommended female creators Chanell Heart (the third match) and Chamile Symone, alongside Uncut Jock NYC, a Brazilian sex worker with a white-presenting appearance. In total, five women ranked among the top 40 suggestions for Jordan. To investigate whether this was a glitch, I uploaded a photo of actor Jeff Goldblum—a classic “hottie” according to the subreddit r/VintageLadyBoners—into the image searcher, and the top suggestion was for Jean B, a self-identified “twink content creator,” followed by 38 large-breasted women. (A second search for Goldblum—who, for what it’s worth, is more zaddy than twink—with a different image yielded similar results; the only male “look-alike” was for YCC, who is Chinese.)
