Exploring Google’s Nano Banana Pro Image Generator

Corporate AI overload seems unavoidable in 2025. From digital ads to roadside billboards, AI-generated visuals crafted by companies are everywhere. Even the neighborhood bar showcases happy hour promotions adorned with that unmistakable hazy, amber tint typical of AI graphics.
On Thursday, Google unveiled Nano Banana Pro, the latest version of its image-generation model. This update focuses on business integration, allowing users to incorporate Nano Banana Pro into Google Slides for presentations and connect it with Google Ads for enterprises worldwide.
This “Pro” version is an evolution of the Nano Banana model released earlier this year. The original Nano Banana gained popularity after users began sharing custom action figures and other shareable creations across social media.
Nano Banana Pro enhances the AI tool with a range of new features, including the ability to generate images in stunning 4K resolution. It’s available for free within Google’s Gemini app, with paid Google One members enjoying extra generation options.
One major enhancement that will attract corporations is improved text rendering. Early tests from generating text outputs show that Nano Banana Pro alleviates the awkward font issues and weird misspellings often seen in many image models, including previous releases by Google.
Google aims for the images produced by this model—text included—to appear more refined and suitable for professional use. “Even one miswritten letter stands out,” explains Nicole Brichtova, a product lead for image and video at Google DeepMind. “It’s just like having an extra finger; it’s immediately noticeable.” She notes that the cleaner text generation stems from switching to a more robust underlying model, Gemini 3 Pro.
